Healthy lunch boxes for people and planet

As a socially responsible company, ECOlunchbox’s mission is to help people reduce their use and disposal of plastic food containers by providing non-toxic, plastic-free lunchboxes that are healthy for people and the planet.

100% plastic free
Feedback from customers for no-leak and no-plastic containers led to the launch in 2014 of the Splash Box the first component of their Blue Water Bento collection. This range combines stainless steel containers with lids made entirely of food-safe silicone (made from silica, which is also used to manufacture glass). From a human and environmental health perspective, ECOlunchbox believe that silicone is currently the best material available for snap-on, leak-proof food container lids. It's much more durable and longer lasting than plastic, resisting degradation resulting from prolonged use or exposure to extreme temperatures. Although silicone is not biodegradable, scientists believe that the material is not hazardous to the environment nor toxic to aquatic or soil organisms.

Stainless steel
Their 100% stainless steel lunchboxes and containers are responsibly made in India and China from high quality, food-grade stainless steel. Steel, unlike plastic, is a highly valued and highly recycled commodity. Materials used in the fabrication of ECOlunchbox’s lunchboxes are third-party tested for purity and corrosion resistance. The products are also tested to safeguard against lead and other hard metals that could be unsafe.

Responsibly made
ECOlunchbox values labour standards and has researched each of the factories where our products are produced to ensure that practices are fair, safe and equitable for the people involved in making our products. Children do not work in the factories where our products are produced.
